Copyright American Board of Medical Specialties. She's always taken excellent care of me over the many years I've seen her! I have been going to Dr. Katy Irani for a number of years and am very satisfied with her. She is a very straight forward doctor who spends time to talk and listen to you. She originally took me as a patient when I was having an emergency and I really always appreciated her for that.
I think the one star review listed here is in error. It says "he" and this Dr. Irani is a female. Avoid this doctor at any cost. He is by far the most unprofessional and rude provider I have ever seen. When my seven months pregnant wife and I moved from out of state into Niskayuna, NY, she needed to be visited bi-weekly, so we had booked an appointment with the female doctor in the same office Frazana Irani, his wife , before moving to the new city, and made sure they accepted our insurance, which is a prominent company, btw.
Furthermore, they insisted that I should not contact my insurance company about this! Obviously, I complained, which was replied as this being their "office policy".
When I asked for a written copy of this "policy", the office staff started yelling at me and my family a seven month pregnant women and a two years old kid, coming to the new city just the day before.
I asked to speak with the doctor, hoping that I could have a logical conversation with her. Then doctor Khushru come along, the male doctor in the office, instead of the female doctor, Frazana, who supposed to be my wife's doctor. Before I even got a chance to tell him what the issue was, he started insulting me in front of everyone, like I am his slave.
For the record, I also hold a PhD in computer science and I probably have a stronger scientific track record than both doctors in that office combined. I should also mention the I have no financial problems, so this is not about money; this is about ethics and principles. To my surprise, he also said, that he is the one who delivers all the babies, even if the patients are registered under his wife's name the female doctor , and now he is not willing to deliver our baby anymore!
Obviously, this is something we had the right to know before coming to his office, but they had hidden it from us. I asked again for a written copy of his office policy; he said it is just verbal! When I told him why he was afraid of providing a written copy, he got furious and asked his staff to call the security to kick us of the office, at which point the staff also started yelling at us again.
You may not believe this, but one of his office staff almost threw my wife's file into my face. Having a distressed pregnant woman and a frightened toddler with me, I decided to move out of the office by myself, calmly and quietly.
You can image the emotional distress we went through that day, and yet we had to find another doctor for my wife immediately, since she was due her visit. Fantastic doctor, knowledgeable, great bedside manner, listens, gentle and caring.
I've been a client of Dr. Kati Irani for many years. She is such a kind, gentle, reassuring and caring doctor. Irani performed surgery with excellent follow-up. She also treats each person as a unique individual. Irani for your excellent care over the years! The Vitals website is provided for your informational use only. The terminal has become a popular embarkation point where passengers have the rare opportunity to park and board next to the ship visible from Interstate Baltimore's Inner Harbor, known for its skyline waterscape and its tourist-friendly areas, was horribly polluted.
The waterway was often filled with garbage after heavy rainstorms, failing its water quality report card. The Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore took steps to remediate the waterways, in hopes that the harbor would be fishable and swimmable once again.

Garbage collected by Mr. Trash Wheel could come from anywhere in the Jones Falls Watershed area. After the success of Mr. Trash Wheel, the Waterfront Partnership raised money to build a second Water Wheel at the end of Harris Creek , an entirely piped stream that flows beneath Baltimore's Canton neighborhood and empties into the Baltimore Harbor. Harris Creek is known to carry tons of trash every year.
A number of additional projects are going on in Baltimore City and County that should result in better water quality scores. These projects include the Blue Alleys project, expanded street sweeping, and stream restoration. In August , the National Aquarium assembled, planted, and launched a floating wetland island designed by Biohabitats in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Floating wetlands provide many environmental benefits to water quality and habitat enhancement, which is why the Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore has included them in their Healthy Harbor Initiative pilot projects.
Currently under design, the top of the pier will become a constructed tidal wetland. Baltimore's main newspaper is The Baltimore Sun.
